Renford Farrier has been incarcerated in a Canadian prison for over 30 years on his first Federal offence.

Charged with 2nd Degree Murder, his “expert” lawyer convinced him to plead to a Life-10 sentence, assuring his family that he would be paroled in 10 years since he was only 18 at the time AND had no prior convictions.

Inadequate mental health care, individual & systemic racism, fear, inequity and ignorance have silenced his efforts to raise awareness of his circumstance and, as a result, the public has been unaware of the mistreatment that Renford has endured…until now.

The goal of this project is to expose the disparate treatment and adverse impact upon incarcerated individuals “living” behind the tall, concrete walls that the public isn’t able to see behind.
